What are your cakes tins, muffin trays and biscuit sheets like? Are they like my mother in laws - spotless, not a bit of baked on stuff, as if they were new aside from the fact that they're not quite flat, a little dinted here and there. Or are yours like mine, clearly never cleaned properly, darker in some spots where I simply didn't scrub hard enough, and then non stick but shiny in spots where I've scrubbed too hard. I do wish I was the sort of person who kept my pots and pans spotless, but I fear that I'm a lazy washer and in too much of a hurry to do a really good job!

Putting my hand up to confess I am also a lazy washer, always rushing ahead and onto my next job!
Every now and then a thought pops into my mind, for a moment I wish my tins, trays and saucepans looked in far better condition after almost 10 years of being put to good use. Later I reflect, it doesn't really matter, they are clean enough :)

I guess that mine are like yours. :)

I'm with you. If I'm lining with paper/muffin cases anyway I figure it doesn't really matter if it's a bit brown in spots or not non-stick any more.

Mine are like yours. Nothing I own is spotless. The sauce looks scrumptious.

Don't blame yourself, you make such a good cooking that everyone forgives you for not having the most shiny pots and pans!
