It wasn't at all cold today, but Leila has a thing about hats, woollen ones. I've mentioned before her fondness for picking balls of fluff from clothing and stowing them away for later. When she's feeling tired, a little cuddly, she likes to wear a hat, whether the sun is shining has nothing whatsoever to do with it.
And that is a super cute hat! I get the fluff thing. When I was little I pulled the fluff off my favourite blanket and ate it! I guess you can be glad she's just stashing it away.
Lovely hat, be glad she doesn't destroy her knits to create fluff!
In a way I'm glad I can't really knit as my son is obsessed with fluff, he nearly always has a wad of it in his mouth. If he can't find any, he pulls threads in anything woolen, many a hand knitted jumper destroyed and definitely no more mohair throws in our joint!
Oh so cute! Olive likes to pick the fur off her favourite stuffed rabbit when she's tired. She gets really annoyed after she's had her fingernails cut as she says it makes it harder to pick him!
I love these photos, so sweet. I hope she is not going out in the heat today though in her gorgeous hat. She needs one of those loose crocheted ones for today!
Very cute! We need more tree huggers in the world. Just noticing how many teeth Leila has! My daughter's teeth are slowly coming out and we're not sleeping much at nights anymore.
The pictures you take of your girls are so cute! I never manage to take such beatuful ones. One starts to make funny faces as soon as she sees a camera. The other runs towards me to see the picture before it is taken....

Super cute tree hugger. The hat obsession is very sweet.

too cute! she looks like a gumnut baby!
Saw this and thought along exactly the same lines as Christie! Such beautiful Australian pics - and very gumnut baby-esque.

You know, more and more I look at these photos, more and more I like them, especially the upper one.
Did you knit the hat yourself?

What a sweetie! Did you make that cut hat?
