A family outing, Puffing Billy, timeless fun.
There's a lot I can see that's appealing about living in the hills, but Geoff is so not into the idea of it. If there were a business we both wanted to do then I think it could work, but he's a Melbourne city boy, and honestly, it's not fair to expect anyone to do a commute like that who didn't embrace it wholeheartedly.
And yes, I was holding on to them SUPER tight!

I can also see you in the hills! How long would the commute be? One day perhaps.............
That looks like great fun! Won't be long before we're doing the same.
I'll let you know how my Melbourne city boy finds the commute. He's planning on sticking with it for a couple of years and then reassessing the situation. I'm glad it's not me who'll be doing the down the mountain/up the mountain everyday. I'll just find things up there to keep the girls and I occupied...
Don't know much about the hills, but I assume it's beautiful. Chloe loves trains, more so than her brother!
I love the drive through the mountains, and sit there imagining how restful it would be to live there amongst all those tall trees and fresh air. But on a day like today it'd be super chilly up there, so maybe it's not so bad down here after all.
