Our countdown to start of school is down to 21 days. It's not about me or how I'm feeling, it's about Ella and she's so excited and so very enthusiastic. Mum may not be fine, but she will be brave and happy that our babe is happy. Really though - only 21 days..?!

What an exciting time for you all! I can't even imagine having one of my wee girls away for most of the day. After getting used to the constant presence of small people, we then have to detach ourselves and adjust to their absence.
Be brave, little Mom! You "not being fine" is evidence of your love for her. Best wishes to you and Ella!
Oh I'm feelin' it too!!!! I'll be here with you BUT I only have 15 sleeps now..
She had the uniform on again yesterday, I wish she'd stop teasing me.

Isn't it hard to give the most precious thing in your life into someone elses care. Where you can't control the surroundings and be there to protect and encourage. My youngest just started school this last fall and I was a complete mess. I think he was slightly embarrassed by my blubbering but it was such a major milestone tht i was a little overwhelmed. They all just keep getting bigger and older every minute and I just want to savour it all!
Ha! We've gone the velcro shoes too! I must admit I haven't worked out how many days are left, but then we are scheduled to have a teachers strike the first day of school and the school is yet to let us know whether to come that day or not... A rather ungraceful start to a schooling career if you ask me!
I know you're going to be crying more than Ella. Bring tissues!
