Flutter, flutter

Life has been very busy of late with dad not around much due to crazy work timelines. Today has been a quiet family day for that reason and also we'll be leaving the girls with my parents tomorrow and heading off for our 4 night without children break. This time 10 years ago I was writing placecards, making little bags of treats for placesettings, and counting down the 48 hours until my wedding day.

Due to the quiet nature of our day we did a sweep at home. You always want the children to win and as I won 1st and 2nd and Leila 3rd, we told a little white lie and let Ella have 2nd place. I know they have to deal with losing but not yet and not when it's just us - some lessons can wait. Did you back the winner?

I would have, if his nose had been but a half an inch longer!

Oh, and I'm so glad that I've found your blog!
