Another tick

This is Leila's first Christmas, so she needs a stocking. I love this - I must admit it's a copy made with my own fair hands, I can't justify the cost to buy one of the originals. Ella's had the same once since she was born, but now wants a new one too, fair enough, so I'm going to make the gingerbread house one for her.

I've had this stocking since I was a babe, still use it every year, made for me by my mum.

Hi,

Couldn't wait to get your email address, but I just wanted to say how lovely it was to catch up on your new via your blog. I cried, laughed and just enjoyed a fantastic read (and yes you do sell yourself short) you are a very talented woman in many aspects of your life. I am glad to be here, but I do miss everyone and even thouhh Alice hasn't complained I know she is missing Kinder and her friends. Now that I have a decent speed with my internet, I think that I might have to have a go at my own blog. It is such a nice way to keep in touch with life and I guess may you stop, reflect and smell the roses. I have been racking my brain for an advent calender, I love your one, might have to copy and get my skates on!!! I am glad that you had a nice birthday and was spoilt, mine was last Sunday. It was pretty low key, but we had a great day at my cousins place for a pre Xmas catch up. I hope that you are feeling OK about going back to work, but I am sure you will enjoy some me time. Anyway, thank you again for a great read and I will talk soon xoxo

I just wanted to write that you made such a cute stocking for Leila but I saw the comment above and read it first. I gave a gasp! If I could write all that in almost one breath!
