I have started eating whole foods every 3-4 hours and cannot believe the difference. I still have my sugar and processed foods when I want (usually when I'm out) but otherwise I'm not hungry and am not getting the highs and lows from my old diet of milo, choc chip cookies and toast.

Having said that, coffee is not negotiable. I'm putting a bit of effort into researching the semi-pro model I want plumbed in for my 40th birthday Cheers, Lynda :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1504486908646551575.post-29205088053592695572008-11-19T09:22:00.000+11:002008-11-19T09:22:00.000+11:00A good breakfast and an expresso when I get to wor...A good breakfast and an expresso when I get to work. I think it stems from living in great proximity to fabulous Northcote cafes for a couple of years.

I do find that a cup of strong tea can carry me for a while until I get that cardboard cup.SadieandLancehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04083216783467316109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1504486908646551575.post-24920487159995114462008-11-18T21:04:00.000+11:002008-11-18T21:04:00.000+11:00Gosh you've summed this up so well! Does this change the older they get, I'm not sure yet!

My vice throughout the day is definitely chocolate, preferably Green & Blacks. I eat way too much of the stuff. Grab a quick square instead of breakfast, a few more as my energy sags mid afternoon and even the rest of the bar as a stress reliever! I know that I should be replacing it with something more healthy, but it is an instant mood booster!Lindsayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09433587931192282731noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1504486908646551575.post-81954177132393948792008-11-18T20:06:00.000+11:002008-11-18T20:06:00.000+11:00I too need a caffeine hit in the morning to lurch ...I too need a caffeine hit in the morning to lurch me from slumber into the day. Why do small people wake so early?!
I'm also quite passionate about dark chocolate and i'm eating ALOT of it these days. I wonder if these vices are contributing to my sore knees? They may help me get through the day but possibly with consequences...Jasminehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09885498121754578620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1504486908646551575.post-67753643009209040952008-11-18T20:03:00.000+11:002008-11-18T20:03:00.000+11:00definitely a hot strong coffee in the morning is n...definitely a hot strong coffee in the morning is needed to wake me up in the morning!Soohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16998653338282610712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1504486908646551575.post-48184151667098125762008-11-18T19:22:00.000+11:002008-11-18T19:22:00.000+11:00This comment has been removed by the author.Christellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08603261400369412176noreply@blogger.com
