Is is almost impossible to get a house here for less than 150.000 EUR for 100 square m. Maybe that's why we rarely move...Pinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10920700366146517315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1504486908646551575.post-66267774594405740712010-06-30T22:23:57.744+10:002010-06-30T22:23:57.744+10:00It sounds like the whole thing was a worthy exerci...It sounds like the whole thing was a worthy exercise. I'm craving a little more inside space too - I'm sure the house has contracted with all this cold weather!Jasminehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09885498121754578620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1504486908646551575.post-85109743228233141582010-06-28T17:38:59.836+10:002010-06-28T17:38:59.836+10:00Oooh, I've missed something here but I'll ...Oooh, I've missed something here but I'll comment anyway. Don't you think when you miss out on one thing or another that you appreciate what you love about the original (not always - cars are a good case in point).
The water feature sounds a lovely idea, very calming indeed!Kikihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04967567814512326496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1504486908646551575.post-32112033573705559742010-06-28T13:32:18.699+10:002010-06-28T13:32:18.699+10:00I am a big believer in things happening for a reas...I am a big believer in things happening for a reason. Prices of homes are much too expensive! May be someday a chance will come up again...SF living is rather small. I survived growing up in a 800 sq. ft apartment with my brother and mom in SF if that says anything.

I am happy you're happy with the outcome. It made me realise we just need to make the most of the space we have & to get rid of some stuff (the hard part!)

Plus if we over-extended ourselves money-wise we would never be around to enjoy a bigger house as we would always be working!

Good luck with your renovations.Angiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17473729350762852125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1504486908646551575.post-80594715519066658442010-06-27T09:53:47.008+10:002010-06-27T09:53:47.008+10:00good on you, i think you know when things arent me...good on you, i think you know when things arent meant to be, and to appreciate what you have got is great. good luck with the renos.two little buttonshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13809921025527166599noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1504486908646551575.post-79434138914281210142010-06-27T09:06:21.085+10:002010-06-27T09:06:21.085+10:00Good for you. And be happy in the fact that you didn't over extend yourselves financially. The house across the road from us sold for an extrodinary amount for what it was yesterday. The mind boggles!Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00275471428731828826noreply@blogger.com
